Wanita Bangkit

The Covid-19 pandemic brought new challenges to every individual. Women who once led peaceful lives managing their family needs were suddenly tested by the loss of their husbands to the virus. Others faced trials such as divorce, job loss, or health challenges during the global crisis.

Despite the harsh realities they endured, these women chose resilience and rose to fight back. Their tears were short-lived, for there were mouths to feed, families to care for, and responsibilities to shoulder. Hardship was no longer their main concern. Even the Movement Control Order could not deter them from rising.

When one door closed, they turned to faith and hard work to find another path forward. These are the women who rose, driven by the sense of responsibility that they are the pillars of their families.
