The Independent Living Centre (ILC) service programme for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is a programme offering basic services to empower the PWD community in Malaysia. The programme focuses on aspects such as self-determination and independent living skills, enabling the PWD community to better prepare for daily life. Through this initiative, the PWD community is given full responsibility for themselves and is recognised as individuals within the society of this country.

The ILC service programme provides services to the PWD community, particularly those living nearby and within their own community, including individuals with severe impairments. It also targets those who have long been part of a family-based institution but wish to transition towards living independently.
